This was included in a Forbes article. Nice to see he had time to relax after being so busy killing his own program.

That article says nothing about that being Bama's plane, but I commend you for adding that in for effect.

Former UAB letterman club president Justin Craft mirrored Watt’s remarks by indicating that none of the top donors or former football players were asked to contribute.

Since this report, many top university donors have come forward to claim that they were never asked to contribute in any manner.

All this spits in the face of Watts previous comments, as reported by AL.com.


“Nobody has come forward with a commitment of any additional resources — we’ve asked,” Watts said. “If the checks were in the bank, it would be one thing. We cannot lead this university on promises.”

So if UAB administrators didn’t ask individuals who were committed to the continuation of the football program to actually contribute, what does this mean?
