Well that's even more amazing for LSU considering that they played Oregon and West Virginia.

Edit: Also an extra game against a 10 win Georgia team.

Some statistics that aren't yards related.


Alabama 2011: 13 ints, 7 fumble recoveries, 30 sacks, 85 tackles for loss


LSU 2011: 18 ints, 12 fumble recoveries, 39 sacks, 106 tackles for loss

Yeah LSU playing against Oregon OOC that year was more than likely the best OOC win for the sec.

Another reason being, the way our defense was set up, we would give up more yards, but took the ball away much more.
