So yesterday we looked at F+, which a lot of people thought was off, but that system is based on analysis and metrics of each play in each game (non-garbage time). So really, they are measuring a sum of plays, not individual games. Sagarin is more like RPI in that it is based on who you played, how you did, their ranking, etc etc

Sagarin SEC Ratings Since 2004
1. 2011 Alabama - 104.70
2. 2011 LSU - 100.30
3. 2009 Alabama - 100.25
4. 2014 Alabama - 100.21
5. 2012 Alabama - 99.40
6. 2008 Florida - 98.74
7. 2010 Auburn - 98.06
8. 2006 Florida - 96.18
9. 2014 Ole Miss - 95.67
10. 2014 Mississippi State - 94.33
11. 2010 Alabama - 94.30
12. 2006 LSU - 94.29
13. 2007 LSU - 93.39
14. 2013 Auburn - 93.37
15. 2012 Texas A&M - 93.31
16. 2014 Georgia - 92.99
17. 2014 Auburn - 92.36
18. 2012 Georgia - 92.15
19. 2013 Auburn - 91.76
20. 2010 LSU - 91.16
21. 2011 Arkansas - 91.06

Looks more accurate to me. 9&10 should be down at 13 & 14 IMO and 11,12 & 13 moved up 2 spots. 2012 aTm still looks out of place. I think '07 UGA belongs over them regardless of how the numbers come out.

Lack of '12 UGA and 07 LSU being this low....

2006 LSU would beat 2010 Alabama at a neutral site

I feel like 2006 Auburn should have made it on that list.

The gap between the top three and everyone else should be MUCH bigger.

2011 LSU/Bama and 2009 Bama would all crush 2014 Bama.

In no way at all should 2012 UGA and 2014 UGA be essentially equal (92.99 to 92.15), not to even mention that somehow 2014 is ranked AHEAD of 2012. It's also preposterous that 2014 is so far out ahead of 2007.

It's better, but I think most of us would move 2014 Alabama behind 2006 UF to start with.
