You can't promise the moon and not deliver.

That's what guys like Butch do.

He's snake oil salesmen.

It works, but the pitch loses its power when it gets exposed for what it is.

He was able to make big promises to lots of high end recruits because he was flipping the program, really soon he'll have to prove he can recruit without that ace up his sleeve.

What the hell are you talking about? Hendrix got playing time and was told the same thing everyone else is told. If you earn it, you'll play. Barnett turned out to be a super-star in the making so Hendrix decided to go elsewhere. I don't blame him. He got beat out by a once in a blue moon type player who happens to be in his same class. He'd have gotten even more PT next year but apparently he didn't want to be in Barnett's shadow - again can't say I blame him given how big that shadow is.

The fantasies y'all are coming up with are hilarious though. I'll give you that much.

You're as stupid as the other idiot. Did you see how many freshmen contributed this year? UT had 3 on the SEC all freshman team. Tied for most in the league.

I guess that's why we're gonna have a top 5 class.
