This guy is awful. I usually only watch LSU so I'm used to seeing him be dominated but I've heard he actually tore everyone else up

some skillsets don't translate to the NFL

It's not like he's the first great college player to struggle in the NFL. It's his first start ever man and he's with the Browns. Give him some time.

Mike Evans made him look good.

Remember all those scrambles where he just blindly threw the ball up for grabs int he middle of the field?

Evans would go up and make the catch, making it a "highlight" rather than an embarrassing interception.

In the NFL his improvisation gimmick shite doesn't even come close to flying.

He had a very good O line and played in a system that puts skill players in space. He ran around a lot and Mike Evans was just better than most DBs. I always thought he was a bit overrated anyways

he's not done well. granted.

but the Browns defense has done him no favors and everyone and their dog knows Manziel has to throw and throw often. The Bengals are pinning their ears back.

I'm content to let this play out.

Seems consistent with how LSU treated him. Like a chump.

He didn't play for the Browns for one. I don't know if you've noticed but the Browns are really bad.

It is his first nfl game. Not like he destroyed UF his first college game.

Granted he is not looking stellar but that OL is getting owned by the Bengals and not giving him a lot of time.

Too bad the OP (who couldn't make his junior high schools football team) tries to justify his failed life by dissing a multimillionaire.

Would not want to be you.

Many of the wounded ducks he tossed up for Evans in college come back the other way in the NFL.

I'm not sure, maybe you could ask JaMarcus Russell.

Have you seen any read option QB have success in the NFL ? All the ones who did had minimal success for a one to 2 year period until the NFL learned to defend it and punish the QBs for running it.

Any QB who goes to a read option team in college is basically not fall way behind QBs who go to a pro set offense.

Not sure, did he actually tear teams up in college? I mean I saw the worst coach in modern Florida history shut his arse down. I could see how if your defense was built around slow fat people he could be scary though.
