Lost you where Cheese? The guy has always had aspirations to be a HC. He's 57. He's not going to be handed the reigns to an FBS school. He doesn't carry that much swag. So if he wants to be a HC before he retires and takes a FCS job...god for him.

That is where you lost me. I get he wants to take the chance but at that age and getting near the end of his working life seems he would want to boost that retirement money now. Thanks for your explanation but if he has a wife and kids seems the risk / reward is not a good one.

When you hear the Kirby Smart and John Chavis talk about HC jobs I never believe them because staying on an SEC staff is money in the bank. Part of the benefit of being in the SEC is the money and benefits for the secondary staff.
