Quit blaming Alden.

He has hired a coke addict, a guy that bailed when the next job came calling, an all-around awful hire, and an AARP member. It's at least partially his fault.

Hindsight is 20/20; pretty sure Alden would have passed on Synder, Suitcase Mike and Frank had he known in advance what would have happened.

IMO here's the problem & how we got to where we are;

Suitcase Mike knew he was leaving and didn't recruit & that set us back at least 2 years probably more.

Frank came in and wanted to make an immediate impact plus he had to fill out the roster that lost a lot of seniors so he took on a lot of transfers; some good, some not so good. Not sure Frank was a great choice but Alden had to hire someone and Painter just used us to get a raise at Purdue. Alden's options were very limited.

Mike Dixon couldn't keep his Johnson in his pants and got booted. He was going to be an BIG piece in Frank's 2nd year. With a better 2nd year who knows how the recruiting would have gone for Frank.

Frank jumped ship to avoid a huge letdown after PP when to the NBA and let's face it, we didn't have a lot of talent based on little to no recruiting and Frank KNEW his seat was getting hot. PLUS Frank couldn't help us get out of the 1st round of the NCAAs.

One thing led to another and that led to another. I think KA will be good in time but he has to pretty much rebuild from the ground up and I think he has some young talent but no experience.

Mizzou BB is TBD.
