this is going to be a long fricking off season if the 16 team conference threads are already starting and bowl season hasn't even started yet.

So are you planning on Duke shutting down or going independent?

This is really stupid.

Texas doesn't want any part of the SEC, and Mobilehoma will just do whatever it's mom in Austin tells it to do.

I think if the SEC ever expands again, it'll look east first, so that it can have better balance and send Mizzou back west where it really belongs.

Besides, in your alignment, nearly all of the original SEC schools are in the east. If you're in the west, that may become a political problem.

I am not sure about Okie, but I know teasip will NOT relinquish their Tier 3. No way they make the SEC grade keeping their Tier 3.

I swear Mizzou fans are so concerned about expansion and realignment.

While I don't favor this, objectively the simplest balancing act would be for A&M and Missouri to return to the Big 12 and then all of the major conferences could/would have a conference championship game. Of course the problem with selecting 4 playoff teams from 5 conferences would remain. If TCU or Baylor had won the hypothetical Big 12 Championship game in a blowout, the committee would have been much harder pressed to select Ohio St. over the Big 12 champion. Solution: they really need to expand the playoffs to include 8 teams; 4 bowl games, 2 semi-final games and the NCG.

Texas in th SEC. Aww hell naww. Their fanbase would love to play in our conference, but the powers that be wouldnt let this happen. I mean, could you imagine texas fans in the sec. They would be flying around their heads were so big.

Well, the SEC EAST might win a championship if AU and BAMA moved over.

LMAO Okie and Texas. Screw that. The logical two in my opinion would be Louisville and Georgia Tech.
