My guess is that there are simply fewer people involved in a coordinator search than a HC search, therefore fewer administrators, boosters and former players in the loop and frantically calling their buddies with hot news.

Other possibility is that it's a genuinely open search and there's nothing to know at this point.

Hope they keep it air tight. Nothing worse than Internet jack offs spreading false rumors and skewing expectations among recruits.

Ehhh... even so, the point is that under Byrne and with the last two coaching staffs we had rock solid info on the assistant coaching searches right away. They really have handled this one differently.
