Then win your conference/division and stop whining.

Bama was not deserving of being in that game. They were the best team on 1/9/12 in a rematch. They were not the best team that year. They did not deserve to be in the game and the whole thing was a farce.

A birth in the National Championship game or Playoff should be based on the body of work, not who might beat who in a single game. Anyone can win on any given Saturday - it doesn't mean that they deserve to play for a championship.

Alabama lost its shot when it lost at home that year and finished second in the SEC West. That is how it should have been. LSU should have played another conference champion, not a rematch against a team it already beat.
