I figured I'd start a comprehensive thread for all of the other High School Football enthusiasts on the board.
Should be a good weekend for some football in the Dome..

-Don't be fooled by ELCA's record, their losses came to Mt. Paran and higher classification teams. They haven't lost since Week 7
-Mt. Paran has a player that Rusty Mansell from 247 has been harping on for a while named Dorian Walker that could be headed to an SEC school

I've seen Archer and Colquitt...I say the Packers carry home the trophy...they are the real deal...Region 1 6A is no joke son..

Colquitt Co. HS used to be Moultrie HS. Ray Goff play QB for them back in the 70's.

GAC is fast. They have a great running back. They beat my hometown last week 44-41 in a dog fight.

Irwin has a running back that is really good. He also plays DB. He is a small guy but he carries that team. If you are going to beat Irwin you have to shut him down.

That's a name from the past.Used to be a power in the big school classification back in the day (AAA,AAAA)

Northside will take 5A. Mays should have lost to Jones Co two rounds ago.

I'll fully admit to being a grouch/a-hole, but seven "state champions" seems excessive to me. Do we really need six classifications plus a private school classification in single A?
Seems like it waters down a state title somewhat.

Okay homer. How did that state baseball championship work for GAC last year?
Our "players of little note" lost on the road by three. You might want to adjust your lack of respect for a state championship level team that hails from a school of only 340 students.
And on that note - may the best team win...

MPC is the real deal, and I'm not just saying this because I graduated from there in May

Speaking as a someone who has watched our offense...I have no fricking clue what we are gonna do next. It is titled as "Single Wing" but that shite as so many different looks it confuses a high school level defense to no ends. Luckily for ELCA they will be seeing it for the 2nd time. Seeing it twice in one season has proven successful as it helped Trion improve the score against last year when we played them twice, the 1st being closer to a blowout, and the 2nd being a grind out win.
Our defense is nasty as shite. We have a defensive end committed to Air Force and our secondary is getting looks from major D1 Colleges. And our DC is one genius son of a bitch.
My key player to watch is Emoni WIllaims #6 the WR/ATH/DB what he lacks in size he makes up for in explosiveness, field vision, and pure instinct.
GIVE US THAT RING

Best GACS team probably ever. Lot of kids from my time and before wanna crow that we were better units but they actually have a good coach now and they have some absolute studs. Slayton is as good as advertised, Abernathy is pretty filthy in his own right, and their QB is a quick riser and will make noise by the time he graduates.
Benedictine about to be made a fool on GPB.

And onward to the dome for my Hawgs. While I appreciate you starting this thread, please see below.
Colquitt-
TJ Smith, 3 Star DE, Class of 2015, Vandy Commit
Kiel Pollard, 3 Star WR, Class of 2016
Bull Barge, LB, Class of 2015
You omitted our running back, the 1AAAAAA player of the year, Sihiem King.
Note in the first playoff game he ran for 150 yards and 4 TDs. In the first half. On 5 carries.
The video link may give you new perspective.
Archer is red hot. If we play well, and really we haven't so far in the playoffs, we should FINALLY bring it home.
