SEC/Southern footprint has plenty of ties on the committee:
-Jeff Long- Aryk A.D.
-Steve Wieberg is a Mizzou grad
-Archie Manning- Duh. On leave this season, but he'll be back for at least 2 more years

Of course you miss the point.
If Pat Haden was also born in SEC country, and the Clemson AD was born in Florida, and Ty Willingham was born in Tennessee, and the Lt. General was born in South Carolina etc. etc.
You guys can play dumb all you want too, the deck was stacked.
