At the end of the 1st Quarter your coach knew your players were not going to win , the difference in the SEC West and EAST . The east is in a down cycle and will build back up. But it will take a few more years to get to where The Gators and The Vols used to be . Ga will be better also. How will your team fair when that happens ? And it will happen .

We will be fine. We obviously won't win the east every year like we have the last 2 years, but we will compete for it more times than not and will win it on occasion. Frankly, while the defense was stellar, this might have been the worst Mizzou offense in over a decade and the fact that Mizzou could win the east when Mizzou was down (forget whether the rest of the east was down) should give others some idea.

Most Mizzou fans, prior to the season, would have told you this team was no where near past teams. We usually do have a let down the year we break in a new QB. The fact that we were able to win the east in one of those down years for us speaks volumes and tells me that even when the east is stronger, a stronger Mizzou team will compete just fine in it.
