Well Bama does have more talent at nearly every position, so that would include coaching staff.

Maybe, but if Pinkel and his staff were to switch roles with Alabama coaches and Saban and his staff were coaching Missouri I still think we lose. It may be closer than the box score of this past game but I still think we would lose.

outcoached and outplayed. That is generally the definition of a blowout loss. (water is wet, etc etc)

Likely. Bama does have the best HC and staff in CFB, after all.

Here's the way I see Coach P's ability and as it relates to the past, others and recruiting;

When it comes to in-game coaching; In the past two years, I've seen monumental strides in comparison to years past. Wins on the road at Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and A&M probably wouldn't have happened before. Road wins with slight leads, tied or down going into the half was not in the cards prior to the '13 and '14 seasons so he, or his staff, Henson and Steckel are noticing the opposing teams tendencies and making preemptive adjustments accordingly... I personally think it's the latter. No way was that happening before.

That being said, coaching in the SEC is the gold standard in CFB... From the top all the way down to the GA handing out water bottles during TO's, there really are no better staffs in the country. Point being is that HCGP has surrounded himself with good personnel and there are still three to four staffs in the conference that are better... Nick Saben's being one of them.

Recruiting is the fundamental facet where HCGP has to do better and capitalize on our recent success. Other than a shift in game plan from Alabama's O in the first series, I saw nothing from Saturday's game to suggest that there was a huge disparity in coaching other than recruiting. The difference of quality of player on the field for both teams was glaringly obvious. The bams just had bigger, faster and stronger Jimmies. There is a lot to be said for finding the "needle in the haystack" at certain skill positions and developing them in to first round talent, but complimenting them with two handfuls of 2nd, 3rd and 4th round talent would allow us to take the next step... just my two cents.

At the end of the 1st Quarter your coach knew your players were not going to win , the difference in the SEC West and EAST . The east is in a down cycle and will build back up. But it will take a few more years to get to where The Gators and The Vols used to be . Ga will be better also. How will your team fair when that happens ? And it will happen .
