It's a tough stat to compare. LSU plays man on ever WR, including Cooper. It allows little room for error, and less opportunity for TO's, but it's great knowing we can pUt our guys on an island and expect them to perform. When you think about who our current starters went up against as second string in practice last year it makes a lot of sense.

Idk how often Ole miss plays man,but I also know we can put anyone of our CB's or safeties on an island and expect them to hold their own against even the best college WR.

Exactly why I expected multiple different answers. There is no denying these are 2 of the best secondaries in the country this year, but their styles of play are different. Ole Miss fans use Golson's INTs this year as a reason why he is one of the best CB in the SEC, but LSU fans claim that Tre White doesn't have near the number of INTs because he is so good at locking down his receiver. Its a position group that is hard to compare among schools which is why it makes it interesting.
