So since we have a few more weeks until the game....

Who do you think we see as QB these next few years? We have so many talented big time recruits its gonna be an interesting battle.

So Sims closes out the year obviously and then he is gone.

So who do you got next year?

I think Coker is gonna start next year. Does anyone think we go another route so we can have a qb for a few years instead of Coker who will be done after next year?

Cooper Bateman? A less experienced Blake Barnett? Who else is in the mix? Alec Morris? I think he may get passed up on the depth chart.

Thoughts?

My bold prediction is that Cornwall(well?) earns the starting spot by August.

Coker will start. We lose pieces like Cooper and White, but Kiffin will just plug in guys to the system. Coker will blow the doors off the SEC next year. Another 3000+ yard passing season with 30 or more TDs

These numbers will become more of a common place with kiffin running the offense. Same thing happened at USC. Leinhart had 3 straight 3000+ yard passing seasons with 2 of them having 30+ TDs. Matt Barkley had 2 3000 yard seasons as well including one in which he had 39 passing TDs

I think Bateman has a decent shot. Really dont like the idea of having four quarterbacks in four years, so we will see. Will be interesting since none of our backups have really had any backup experience outside of Coker. Even his backup time at Alabama has been more limited than his predecessors.

Coker in 2015, then it is a Bateman/Cornwell/Barnett battle in 2016.

We stacked.

I think it's pretty much a lock that Coker will be the starter next year. Unless one of the young pups just blows the staff away.

I'm not sold on Coker.

2015 Coker
2016 Bateman/Cornwell
2017 Bateman/Cornwell
2018 Cornwell/Barnett

Cornwell has apparently learned the offense well early on. I see Bateman getting the nod though, and then Cornwell staying until he leaves for the draft/graduates

Cornwell is a RS fresh next year, is he not?

I say Coker will get the start, with Cornwell beating out Bateman for 2nd, Barnett red shirting, and then sadly, Bateman transferring. Tons of competition at the QB position next year

We have a lot of great players trying for one spot.

Not a bad position to be in.

I wonder if Coker could transfer again. I feel bad, he could probably start at Texas, I just think if Kiffin is still heading up the offense, he'll go with someone else.
