Two Things I Like About This Team

There are a lot of things to like about this team, but we've gone over them plenty on this board. Here are two more that I really like.
1) This is probably the first time in Saban's tenure at UA that the team at the end of the year is heads and shoulders above the one that took the field at the end. For the most part, we improved every game. That's how it should be. We weren't doing everything we could to just get to an off week. A championship team shouldn't be running out of gas at the end of the year, it should be clicking.
2) We never had a hangover from one game to the next. In the past, we'd have a big win and then have a hangover the next week. After the Ole Miss game, we had no room for error and we played like it. We got up for every game.

Another thing I like about this team is how Sims has the ability to pull his head out of his arse when he's playing terrible. If McCarron was having a bad game, by and large he would continue to have a bad game until it was over. The only exception being the final drive in LSU 2012.
Sims can have a bad game against LSU and Auburn and yet pull his head out of his arse and start making ridiculous throws. He was one INT away from the bench in the Auburn game, but pulled it together to help us win a shootout. It really bodes well for a playoff team that Sims has the fortitude to put himself back together during the course of a game.

Sims will be a fricking legend when it's all said and done. He has an incredible ability to produce a drive when we need one.

this team seems to be in much better shape than previous teams on D (with maybe the exception of depriest). I havent seen us get tired yet in a game, no matter how many plays are run against us.

We're deeper at DL and OLB than any other year
