Currently there is an NCAA rule that says you need 12 teams, minimum, to have a CC game. The beev12 has already petitioned to be exempted from that rule but, afaik, that lifting has not happened.

If the NCAA is now basically ran by the Power 5 conferences, why would the other 4 conferences want to lift that rule for the beev12?

Back to the other question what "quality programs" will the beev12 add? They had 4 quality programs leave and have added 2 that are barely significant. Who will they add? UAB?

I actually read an article the other day someone had on Facebook saying the Memphis was looking really hard are joining the Big XII. There a decent basketball school, but thats about all you can say.

Edit: If was expanding and I were them, I'd be trying to get NIU as well. Both expand their territory a little and can easily fit in north and south divisions.
