To add to this... Why would anyone in their right mind want the SEC to go to 9 games under the current format?
The West damn near cannibalized themselves into oblivion.
Auto entry for a conference winner would solve most ills and de-incentivize scheduling OOC cupcakes.

As a fan, I don't like the fact that I get the opportunity to go to Athens or Gainesville only once out of every twelve years.
