I can only fight the good fight for so long. This has been the best run from Missouri I've ever seen in my life. I've seen much, much worse.

To be honest though, it was a lot more fun getting to this point than it was realizing that this is it.

It's a stupid game, and I don't even live in Missouri anymore, but I'll be damned if I can't kick this horrible habit of loving Missouri. It's a goddamned disease, a degenerative fricking disease. Not one that will kill you right off, but one that eats at your heart and soul like nothing else, it will make you think you can get through it, and then it will just destroy more of you. Time and again.

Yet, I come back, every fricking year hoping for something better, but just getting more of the same. It's a sad sack fricking horror story. I don't know why we do it.

For every one of me there are 10 more, putting themselves through the same bullshite, year after year.

It's a mother fricker, even so I'll be back.
