True, and I am not saying he was a bad hire, but only time will tell. Seems good, but most people thought Muschamp was ready to make the jump. And Colorado State is a whole lot different than Florida. Could be a good hire. Looks like it right now, but only time will tell.

Jim McElwain was the Alabama offensive Coordinator from 2009-2012, winning two national titles in process. Colorado was a 4-8 team in 2012, in Jim's first year they went 8-6 beating Washington State in the New Mexico Bowl. They are 10-2 this year with a win at Boston College, so a rather big turn-around. I would expect this guy to be dominating Mark Richt as soon as 2016 and beyond.
