Yeah, but part of their little gimmick is that loving Auburn takes more work, more dedication, and is the tougher 'pick' between the two state schools. Like there is some sort of honor or valor in choosing the 'underdog.'

In their painting of the picture, loving Alabama is more common (true, more people pull for Bama than Auburn), more sidewalk...it's the default pick for Alabamians unless they choose to go against the grain - to go with the smaller, more exclusive 'family' fanbase of Aub. And because of that, Bama fans are redneck sheep.

In reality it's all just a bunch of frikken ra ra ra crap to make you feel good about your pick.

The irony of the situation is that they claim to be so in love with Auburn, yet they sure spend a lot of time thinking about Alabama - photoshopping Alabama A's onto toilet seats and/or documenting, on their daily outings, with their camera phone, every redneck they come across wearing an Alabama A.
