Kentucky completed a new outdoor T&F facility a couple of years ago. Nothing in comparison to the seating numbers for the proposed A&M facility or Arkansas (UK's only has 3,000 capacity), but a nice smaller complex with all the needed amenities for hosting a good meet. Also expandable for the future if needed.

Also, the newest aerial photos of Commonwealth Stadium. It still looks like a mess around the stadium, but let it be noted that the new $45 million football only training facility is also under construction right beside the stadium, as well a complete overhaul of Alumni Drive (widening and new turnabouts) to the south of the stadium. Pretty much all work left on the stadium itself is interior finishing and exterior footprint work.

Admin. says it will be ready to go by the first game, but some things will still be in the finishing stages for a couple of weeks after the start of the season. Final paint and touch up work mainly.

the entire area around the stadium is going to have a completely different feel to it. Anyone that has been to a game at UK before will definitely notice a new and improved venue from all aspects.

We're finally getting football facilities to be proud of here at UK. May not be the largest, but they will certainly be top notch.

Old Photo for comparison.

Alumni Drive reopened yesterday, with the new roundabouts, and there's a video with a nice aerial of it going by the CWS. LINK

Shots from a few days ago...

It's really going to come down to the wire. Especially with those suites.
