Kudos to the LSU AD for creating such a logical design. Tennis fans at the LSU Tennis Facility will be able to watch a match at one court, then go up to the walkway and quickly and easily go sit down to watch yet another match at another court, indoors or outdoors, using that same walkway. Also easy to get to restrooms and concessions. LSU really has been doing some creative thinking when it comes to expansions/construction/renovations.
Edit: Looks like capacity will be a little over 2,000. Capacity at the old tennis center was 550. There is also a significant amount of standing room only space at the new tennis center.
The South End Zone addition to Tiger Stadium set a new standard for how end zone expansions are done.
Premium seating and convenience to restrooms and concessions are maximized in that design.
