I'll be honest. I'd read such bad stuff about Finebaum that when the SEC network started up I was expecting to see this raving Bama homer.

But to be honest, the times I've watched he wasn't really like that. If anything, he seems to be almost embarrassed to be associated with the people who call the show (as well he should be in many cases). Maybe he just has too high of an opinion of himself - like it's all below him, I dunno. But he sometimes seems like he'd rather be doing something else.

Production value of the show is pretty low though.

His being embarrassed about his association with his callers is one thing; he should be. But to think he's not a bama homer is ridiculous. Back in Oct. he said, during one of many ramblings about Saban & bama, that the "3 NC's alabama won were the 3 greatest days in my life". I cann't speak for the Ironbowl..he was not present this yr...but for the past 5 LSU/bama games at least, he's been on the bama sidelines all game long. Saban's wkly press conference is run first every wk, and is shown several times during the wk. No other SEC coach's PC gets that kind of showing. etc etc etc
