Why? I've never attended a football game at UTC but I'd pissed if UT tried to shut them down -- a lot of Vol fans are Mocs fans too.

It doesn't shock me that you wouldn't understand why people care about this. Alabama is basically killing a football program in its state. Given your fans predilection for killing things that get in Bama's way, of course it would be interesting to this board.
