Hypothetical: If Tech fired Johnson and offered Bobo, do you think he'd take it?

On the one hand, I think he'd become a huge pain in the arse as the HC at Tech. On the other hand, I don't think Tech has the stones to offer a lifelong UGA guy, nor am I sure that Bobo would ever take that job.

Yes... It would be a good start in a power 5 conference.

Not sure. It would be a really bad situation for him with the massive personnel differences between the triple option and a pro style system. They'd have a few seasons where they went like 2-10 until they got a QB, OLs, RBs, WRs, TEs, etc.

It would be a bad fit imo. It's a big enough job for him to take though.

Unquestionably not.

Bobo is probably the 2nd most "GEORGIA" guy on staff only behind Joe T, and that's probably just because joe's old as hell and has 2 other lettermen as his father and son.

Bobo went to UGA, set UGA records, has an all time classic comeback against tech in 97, was on the field then ran back to our bench to grab his helmet before reporting back to the field during the 93 tech fight, etc. There is no way that he would go to tech and have to rebuild and re-recruit their ENTIRE offense. Not to mention he doens't strike me as a downtown livin kinda guy. He also has about 12 kids he'd have to uproot and move schools.

I'm sure at some point bobo will want to take a HC job, but he's certainly proven enough to where he can get a pretty good one. It wouldn't be tech.

Absolutely not. Heck of a lot more likely he would take the Florida job. But Florida may have had it's fill of former UGA players for coaches.
