No, he did his due diligence by contacting the former school AND the NCAA before the hire and was given the all clear.

That said, I'm not a Hart fan. He's cheap and seem hellbound and determined to kill our women's programs (that usually wouldn't be a big deal but we have a great history and a top brand that's national and a diehard fanbase that loves women's basketball and our Softvols to name two - but women's sports has been historically very strong here compared to elsewhere). AND we've supported women's sports for several decades, not just the LV basketball team and are well known across the nation for the job we've done. And it goes beyond what you might think male fans, especially wealthy blue hairs, adore our LV's and follow them the same as the men.

Though football will always take priority, lots of people (young and old) are NOT happy with Hart's handling of women's sports at all. That aspect is a lot more likely to get him a revolt than this because LOTS of wealthy donors follow our women.

Summitt truly was god-like to us. We'd have considered her for men's sports had she ever wanted it. And again that cuts across genders. Guy like VF30 excluded.
