I have had Lymphoma twice in the last 4 years. Stage IV Diffuse Large B Cell type to be exact. To go from undetectable to a significant enough mass in 5 months to cause pain and discomfort kind of indicates that it is aggressive in nature. Mine was very aggressive and that is a good thing as long as he has an otherwise strong immune system. The aggressive, fast growing Lymphomas are actually curable whereas the small cell follicular types are chronic and not curable. Dr. Flowers was not my main Dr. (I had Dr. Langston) but he did assist in my treatment at Emory. Eric will be under great care at Winship and I know he will pull through.

Good to hear - both for you and him. I hope and pray you're right. And congrats on beating cancer's arse.
