Had a friend die of melanoma and it was horrifying. Can't think of many worse ways to go.

There really aren't. I thank my lucky stars that when I was diagnosed I had no clue what it could do. When I eventually did find out both from others telling me and an friend's mom dying from it, I was shocked. I'm so incredibly grateful because I know how lucky I was.
