Does Freeze call the offensive plays? If so, is he open to bringing in someone else and give up play calling?

Does he have an OC to help him in game planning and play calling during games?

Watching the game remind me of Nutt's years here, especially when Bo went down and it was apparent there was no back up play when "the offense" was hobbled or out (Cobbs/Jones/McFadden here). His play calling was also predictable as if they found a play that had moderate success you saw that play called and continued to be called even after it was being shutdown, plus it was entirely one dimensional.

So basically, why is your offense so bad?

I don't know. We are ahead of you in total offense. So maybe you can tell us?

Our interior offensive line is too big and slow to pull for outside runs which is where our backs excel. We had 2-3 successful running plays doing that yesterday when the OG actually beat the back to the edge.

No running game = all the pressure on Bo. All the pressure on QB = turnovers by QB or miracle win (see: Bama game, LSU game last year)

It's a clusterfrick where Freeze and Werner both call plays depending on the downs. I'm hoping the money Bjork was going to use to give Freeze a raise goes to hiring a real BSD OC.

The man has his faults, but I still think he's a great recruiter and a great head coach. He just needs to surround himself with a talented support staff vs his friends.

I'm not sure why we ever try to run up the middle, but you can bet 75% of the time that will be our first down play. It's fricking annoying.

We actually had a few drives where we were moving the ball pretty well that ended in picks in the endzone. That can't happen.

There's really no acceptable excuse for his bad our offense has been this season. We've had one or two good games against decent competition, but for the most part when we meet a defense with a pulse we completely shite the bed.

It's bad when you can't trust your third year senior QB to run your offense wide open.

I would have liked to see more promise from our freshmen QBs, too, but neither did anything to assuage fears of next season.

I also don't get how shitty our offensive line is. It does not compute.

Don't have the personnel to run the ball effectively. Puts the game in the hands of the QB to make everything happen, including the short passing game that functions as their answer to a running game. If you don't have an elite QB, this plan struggles against decent defenses. It's even worse when your best playmaker is injured. The loss of Treadwell crippled the offense, because there's no one to bail them out on third down.

This really isn't Freeze as much as the pieces currently there to work with.
