I try to avoid the hyperbole that is the style among football fans/commentators. There aren't that many "great" receivers in college football and I don't think Bobo's scheme requires a "great" receiver because it works best when the qb effectively spreads the ball around. I do think that our receivers group next year is good enough to carry their part of the load very well, if they stay relatively healthy.
That's all well and good when you have a mature 5th year quarterback and a stellar offensive line and a dominant running game.
When you have a young 1st year starter at QB, a mostly new offensive line, the holes might not open up for Chubb as well next year, and Vaughn might not have the time to make all his reads in the pocket, then it comes in handy to have your Go-To Big Time receiver you can flick it to, like Johnny and Mike Evans, or Stafford and AJ, and have the confidence that your receiver is going to come down with it, even if your throw isn't that great.

I don't expect much drop off in the OL next year. We lose a couple of starters and a couple of back ups, but from what I've read the guys coming along behind them are fine. No doubt our new qb will have to learn to make his reads quickly, but we'll have some weapons that give him confidence.
Plus, Ramsey will be in his third year and Bauta in his fourth, so they should know the offense. I do wish we'd give them more experience playing live in spring football. It's a risk, but it helps when the real games start.
