Both are excellent QBs, I think. Equally gifted. I would choose Mashall only because he appears to never be rattled. Like he has ice water in his veins. (I could see Sims achieving this as well with each win boosting his confidence.)

I would actually say both are probably above average, solid QBs and neither will ever be excellent.

Clearly Marshall is as collected in late scenarios as anyone in the game. You're right, Sims looked very rattled against WVU, Ole Miss, and (until the final drive and OT) against LSU. Thankfully he is gaining composure. What impresses me about him is how much he has improved since that horrendous A-Day performance and his ability to prove the naysayers wrong. Pretty much everyone, myself included, thought Coker would be Bama's starter by now. Likewise, Marshall has steadily improved his passing game. Both serviceable quarterbacks who have proven they can get the job done.

I'd say they're both clutch QBs. I think bands would have more than one loss if we still had AjHe's a better QB than Sims, but with this year's OL, he'd lose more.

Marshall reminds me of a faster Tebow, with a less accurate arm. He runs that offense very well, but he's struggled art times because of the inexperience on Auburn's OL.

Overall, I'd say it's pretty much a push. I think Sims could run Auburn's O, but don't think Nick could run Bama's. That doesn't mean Blake is better, but we just aren't suited to be a heavy run ten this season, and prefer a balanced attack more so than Gus.

Except for the snap/handoff issues when it mattered against A&M, I could agree. That being said, Sims has had a couple of those himself but just not when it mattered most.

I think Sims is a better passer and can elude pressure better. Athletically gifted the most? Probably Marshall.
