So now its the kid's fault because he was lied to and isn't making good enough grades to get a full ride on grades alone. Get the hell out of here with that nonsense. Its hard to believe you actually think this is ok.

Thought it was obvious I wasn't being serious. I do; however, think a guaranteed scholarship a year from now is a lot better opportunity than most kids get.

Well, it might not be his choice. I can see coaches not letting him visit Texas HS players anymore.

Yes, I'm sure that every high school coach in the State of Texas will remember this day for years to come.

But he's not most kids. He is a high level recruit(compared to the hundred of thousands of other HS FB players) that had offers and turned away potential offers to play for Mullen & State. An unplanned 10k in expenses isn't just something most people can deal with. I doubt you'd be able to handle it. How do you expect an 18 year to do so?

At the time of his commitment to State, the only other commitable offer he had was Colorado.

So he had an offer to a Pac school then shut it down so he would not get any more offers. My point still stands.

He had offers from Florida, Auburn, and several other places that weren't commitable.

Keep up dumbass.

Also, J'mar Smith never committed. He was told he didn't have a spot before anything like what happened yesterday.

Ok...

When you tell coaches that I am not interested. They usually move on to the next recruit. How many schools do you think contacted him over the summer? Who's to say he couldn't have had another handful of Big 5 conference offers.

And if you bring up paying for school, maybe he should have made the grades to have it paid for regardless. There is no reason this has to change his plans.

Well, you learn something every day I guess. Always assumed it was a reference to Busch League being the lesser branch in NASCAR. Turns out Bush League has been describing lesser tiers of sports for like 100 years.
