I thought of that during the Duke game.

That's also why Cutcliffe is there. He has a bad heart and only the absolute hardcore Duke football fans will go crazy after that game. The rest are just watching basketball.

Conspiracy on the radio is that ACC commission doesn't want another Duke-FSU ACCCG, low ratings, low attendance, embarrassing low.

So they reached out to the REC.

That is my wife and her friends, and they don't blame Cut in the least...they place blame on the players, mainly Boone. They realize that Cut is the best thing to happen to Duke football in 30 years (maybe longer, because Cutcliffe isn't looking to leave like Spurrier). Duke wins because of good plans and playing smart, they're never the most athletic team out there. Last night Duke didn't play smart, their QB missed a lot of wide open throws, and their defensive scheme killed the early. Slowly but surely, Cutcliffe is starting to bring in better athletes at Duke. They have a AA WR and LB coming in with this class and they came real close to getting commits from high profile recruits but just missed out. If he can make it another 5-7 years before health issues force him out, I could potentially see Duke winning the ACC in an upset once.
