If UGA wins out including the SECcg, some would argue that they deserve a spot in the play-off....

For those people then...How could they simultaneously argue that Tech wouldn't deserve to get in under basically the same circumstances?

The argument for either team should they win out, is that they'd be a 2-Loss conference champion that defeated Top-4 ranked teams in their last game... IN the case of Tech, they'd have defeated the only undefeated team left.

It'd be about teams faced. We have defeated a ranked clemson team (not close), a ranked missouri on the road (blowout), and a ranked auburn (blowout).

Tech has beaten 1 ranked team all year and it was clemson last week. They lost to duke (ok loss) and a bad NC team. Our losses, overall, are worse than theirs. But as of right now we have far more impressive wins. Taking your scenario further, if tech won out they would also have wins over a top 10 UGA and #3 FSU. Not bad. Compared to our situation with a win over a top 20 tech and #1 alabama.
