Would probably be a good idea considering his track record. But he should stay put for a few more years and learn all that he can before he takes on that kind of responsibility.

Well Saban's assistants don't have a very good track record as head coaches so being under saban could hurt his reputation. Like others have said his offense has looked pretty bad on the road.
