I think we've reached a synthesis with this conversation.

I mean, I know a lot of people hate when school gets involved but really -- we need to start telling people their rights around high school, maybe in the last year.

It's important in America because our laws are outlined so well, and there are many ways to circumvent or protect yourself. I can't fathom why we don't teach our kids how to handle kinetic moments.

Although I've always been of the idea: He has the gun, the badge and the control, I get out of this situation 100% of the time if I just comply and have my day in court if he does end up arresting me.

Seriously, if someone else has a gun -- listen to them, unless they're cartels but I think that problem may be exclusive to me.
