REBELS, what do you think your chances are in the egg bowl?

Don't care either way with this game, just wondering how y'all are feeling about it. I'll hang up and listen

Obviously not a Rebel, but I think there's a good chance they win that game.

Very good. Home team nearly always wins in the Egg Bowl. State hasn't beaten an Ole Miss team with a winning record in Oxford in almost 20 years.

Good but not great. History is on our side ( ) but both teams are really good for the first time in a thousand years so who knows.

How many times in that 20 year period was state top 4 in the country with 10 wins?

Lemme answer after the Arkansas game..

Never. But since Ole Miss and State are pretty equal teams, I'd say that stat is pretty relevant.

I think this is the correct approach. OM post-treadwell is a major question mark. Tunsil is also a huge unknown.

He's had 3 weeks of rest. He'll be fine.

While it sucks to lose him, we have plenty of capable receivers

Everyone, except Treadwell obviously, are supposedly back to full health.

Let's see what we look like against Arkansas.

Of those remaining wr's none are even close to treadwell

Did Tunsil die or something?

Glad we sat Tunsil out the last several weeks. I have been really impressed with his replacement Fahn Cooper against Auburn and Rod Taylor. If we can get some depth this offseason on the offensive line, we are going to be nasty on offense next year.

I agree Treadwell is easily our best receiver but Vince Sanders is pretty comparable to him. If teams play single coverage on him, they will get burned. Landon Collins got burned several times by him.

We will miss him more for his blocking than his receiving IMO

You're going to miss the threat of him more than anything imo. Defenses had to gameplan specifically to try and stop treadwell which openned things up for your other wr's. It remains to be seen if your other wr's can be effective without the threat of treadwell.

Do y'all have any songs like the feed moncrief song that y'all play this year?
