how well does depending on having the more superior athletes on the field work out in the SEC

pretty well just based on our production vs. other SEC offenses. There hasn't been a more consistent offense in the SEC than UGA since Richt got here and even when he was at FSU before that.

how many guys can say well my system works as long as I have a NFL prospect qb, heisman RBs, and a line like green bays

Probably a bunch, but I don't think that's really the point. For Bobo's specific circumstance of being the OC at a recruiting power and wanting to be the HC in a similar program, his system works wonderfully. It's about talent acquisition more than anything, imo. I would say that there are very few OCs that would be nearly as good as Bobo at getting talented players.

Major programs aren't about doing less with more. They win big by getting more talent and setting it loose.

My thought has always been that Bobo's talent evaluation, aside from OL (but that could be blamed on several people), is top notch. His staff that he and Richt built is top notch. The system he uses is effective. More often than not his gameplan is effective but there are frick ups here and there. But who doesn't have that?

I think the only thing that he isn't really elite at is situational play calling. I know you'll probably disagree, which is fair, and to be honest I am not saying he is bad at it. I just think he is hit or miss when it comes to the pivotal play call. You have your over use of the bubble screen and then you have his 4th and 1 call where he motioned the the FB to both be on the right side and it was beautiful. Again, you can't expect someone to be much better than he is at that.

My point is, if there is any, that Bobo is a damn good producer but, yea, there are better guys out there but few are so good that you should have any want for something different. Basically, these days, I sit in the middle of our fans who think he is a god send and those who think he is a bum.
