I don't think an Alabama fan seriously wants to talk about luck. Your luck under Saban even stretches to things like always being given one of the easiest schedules, star players for the opposing teams like Colt McCoy getting injured, and backing into the national championship game without even winning the western division. This doesn't even include pulling several games on the field out of your arse during this year alone

Alabama is about to have it's 8th 10 win season in a row, that's a crazy amount of luck.

Auburn's good years are sandwiched between 3-9 and 8-4 type campaigns.

I think that alone tells you who wins due to consistent excellence vs. who wins thanks to random chance.

Anything can happen in the short run, the long run results tell the true story.

Please name another star player that has been injured from an opposing team in all the time that Saban has been coach. If anything, Alabama has had bad luck with injuries over the years. Look at Kenyon Drake this year, Dont'a Hightower in 2010, and of course Mark Barron that same year. Yeah, his torn pectoral muscle played a significant role in your team escaping Tuscaloosa by a point that year.

Alabama beat every single team in 2011 not named LSU by more than 13 or 14 points -- can't remember which. If you consider having one team ahead of you lose to be "backing in," then Auburn backed into the game last year and one of the two teams backs in almost every year.

How is scheduling lucky? It's just rigged because we run the SEC. That's not luck, son. You're just a redheaded stepchild.
