The school allows for ten days of class for the ruling to comeback on the hearing. Winston's lawyer needed to postpone it long enough so that, that date would carry over and the tenth day would fall in the spring semester.

So he chose December 1 st to push it back to. There fore the tenth day of classes would be friday the 12 th of December.
But wait we miscalculated that... I need to reschedule one more day... December 2nd.. So now that 10 th day definitely falls on winter break and the ruling wont be given until the first day of class in the spring semester after the playoff selections and end of regular season.

He can then withdrawal from class before the hearing comes down.

Such corrupt BS. They are taking one of our playoff spots.

Edit: here's the link to the new story about the 2nd hearing change

Fsu BS

And they bring in a state judge and dont use the normal school policy? What was the purpose for that BS? To distance themselves from their own investigation, take their investigation out of their hands?

Defending champion. Beat the SEC's best last year. They need to be beaten to a pulp by the SEC this year. Let them stay.

There really is no moral integrity at all in that program. Absolutely none.

I work in the wonderful capitol of the state of florida.

Trust me - FSU has this all figured out and everyone is on board with it.

Just the way it is, and will not be changing any time soon. At least not in Tally.

He won't last 10 seconds in the NFL. All he gets from all this is some crab legs, and a life full of regret.

Oh, and he fricks Mississippi State, but so does every Dentist - so, there's that...

Whichever school that finishes 5th and out of the playoff, should file a lawsuit and get a federal judge in their home jurisdiction issue some sort of injunction to keep FSU from playing.

They're going to drag it out until after the season, at which point he's just going to quit school to go to the NFL.

All involved parties are pushing for that specific outcome.

Spring classes start on Jan 7, the title game is on Jan 12. It would seem that if he isn't in school and committed to being in school through the semester, there's no way FSU could take the PR hit of letting him play in the game.

The entire university system should be ashamed at the way this fiasco has been handled and adjudicated. Jameis would be gone, Fisher docked a mill, and the FSU PD would have been sacked after a review of who's left thats honest if I were the chancellor of that university.

This is big-time college football. Nothing new here. You'd recognize that if not for your historic irrelevancy.
