Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy is the favorite to be named Florida's next head football coach, according to odds released Monday afternoon from Bovada.

For what it's worth, Bovada correctly identified Charlie Strong as the favorite to replace Mack Brown at Texas when the Longhorns' head coaching position came open last offseason.

He's rumored to be unhappy with the administration at Oklahoma State, despite being a graduate of there.

Florida could do worse.

The best case for UF if they hire Gundy is to beg boom to stay as DC. Gundy doesn't even watch the defense when they are on the field. That said, UF should be able to do better than Gundy.

That's the kind of hire I expected last time.

Gundy would be a really good hire. His Poke teams get out talented most of the time, but they play extremely hard.

That would be an amazing hire. Not sure why anyone would be making fun of it.

If it's Gundy or the field, bet the field.

FWIW, Gundy has done way better at Ok State than Les did. If he was named coach and got a good defensive coordinator, Florida will be back to relevance in no time
