An Alabama win, and we're likely in the playoff as the 3 or 4 seed. An Auburn win, we get to play for an SEC Championship. I just disagree and this is, frankly, a bit of a loser's attitude. My guess is the MSU coaches and players disagree with this sentiment. Sure, you'll obviously take a chance at the biggest prize (an NC) any way you can get it, but SEC championships are still a big deal to me (and Alabama has 23 of them).

SEC championship + national championship > just national championship > just SEC championship
