You guys are killing me. I know the SECr likes to troll A&M by saying A&M actually fled to the SEC because they were scared of Texas and the whole idea of that is absurd, but you guys are making it difficult right now.

Screw that, play them, beat them, have years of bragging rights.

What's the worse that can happen? They already have the "last game victory" hanging over the Aggies' head. Take it back.

or we told them we would still play them, they told us to frick ourselves. So now we are doing the same. Why do we have to want to play them? I think a lot of people are also disappointed in the possibility of being put into a bowl that's 90 miles from our school

It all comes back to recruiting. You have 2 new coaches who recruit heavily in the same area. A loss without the yearly opportunity to extract revenge from UT right now would certainly end Sumlins career. It would also kill our recruiting advantage over UT.

Dont get me wrong, I'm all for playing UT, but it has to be yearly thing. Any Ag or Longhorn that says otherwise is just too damn proud to admit it. (Which is what the rivalry is really all about; pride)
