Not sure if serious ... or citing Br'er Rabbit.

Muschamp is one helluva DC and I want him nowhere near the SEC unless he's at UGA.

If Muschamp is hired, I fully believe he would have an eye on parlaying it into a shot at the head coaching position when Spurrier retires. I don’t think it would come with a coach in waiting tag, but I could see South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner offering assurances that he would receive serious consideration when the time comes

But this part would make me happy from a competition stand point. That would be an absolutely miserable Head Coaching hire for y'all and make UGA's life in the east. I think Ward and Muschamp would end up butting heads about the defense, as well. Muschamp is a guy who, for about the last decade, has had total control over his defenses and I doubt Ward would want to relinquish control of his defense.

It would only be temporary as I'm sure Ward would be encouraged to take a HC job somewhere. And Muschamp may not be a bad HC if he has a beast OC..... and junior Spurrier and GA do run a pretty good offense.

Just some food for thought.
