Jack Arute and Chizik have been saying the exact same thing all year long on Sirius radio.
What would be great is that if somehow the B12 winner is left out of the playoffs by the slimmest of margins because they didn't have the big game at the end of the year (conference championship game).
Basically every conference that has a championship game already has a "playoff game". Those that don't (B12) are getting a free pass.
In other words, I agree with you but only if all power conferences have a championship game.

well, in my scenario every conference would be required to have a championship game if they wanted to send a team to the playoffs.
