34-31 State. We've scored under 34 points only once this year against an Arkansas team where Dak was hurt for a majority of the game. I'm surprised most of you think we'll score 21 points tops. Not a flame, but Ole Miss scored 24 and their offense is slightly inferior to ours.

Ole Miss was also gifted the ball thanks to Christion Jones. I think our predictions are based on Jones not having his head up his arse this game.

We play better in BDS. A&M hadn't been shutout since 03 with that 59-0 loss, so holding Miss State to around 20 is not an absurd possibility by any means.

It just feels like y'all are starting to cool off a little, plus we play 10x better in BDS than we do on the road. Couple that with y'all being ranked #1 and Bama still being left out of the top 4, the team will be the most motivated they've been in some time (or they should be, rather).

35-14 Bama
Mullen's Bulldogs haven't scored more then 10 points against Bama in 5 games. Bama is built to stop this Urban Meyer offense.

This is a tough one to make a prediction for. I think we're a better team than Miss State and we'll have the home field advantage.
My concern is that we are a little beat up and emotionally drained after last week. Yeldon is not 100%. Also, the main way to beat Alabama is great QB play and Dak can certainly provide that. I also think their defense is better than what the stats show.
We should win, but I wouldn't be shocked if we lost.

but if Bama wins out, we are IN, regardless of how good other conference teams are?
100% yes. If you mean win out the regular season. If we lose the SECCG, I don't know what would happen.

I'm not as nervous about this game as I was for LSU, but Prescott scares me a little. He did fine in DV, how will he do in BDS? Plus there is still the LSU fatigue factor that has plagued us recently.
I still think we win, but it will be close, another game within 6 points, but Bama still wins. We're overdue for a BIG win in Bryant-Denny. (LSU as a team last year was kinda meh.)

I'm in the same boat. I'm not nervous about this game but Prescott worries me. He can do things that other QBs did when beating us in the past.

34-17 Bama. I think the pressure is on Mississippi State, which goes well for Bama.

34-13
Bama
Our defense has turned into a ferocious unit.

I think this is kind of overblown.
Lets see: Our front 7 got the brunt of the action last Saturday, and we rotated them in and out very regularly. Most of the time, their RBs never even got to the second level. Our back 4 should be good. Our offense was hardly even on the field on saturday, except for a couple of sustained drives. I don't imagine that they are too terribly fatigued.
If our front 7 can get rested this week, we should be in really good shape.
