Kneeling on the ground?
I haven't a clue.
Those aren't Yell Leaders.
Why do you want to know?

No. And I'm glad. I would be embarrassed if my fans disrespected the man responsible for resurrecting the program. Without Saban y'all would be a less prestigious version of Ole Miss.

This. I honestly wish Saban would address it at the press conference. "Oh, and I thought that was an inappropriate chant I heard from the fans, considering I brought them back to relevance and their first national title since 1958."

Yes. They are. I can name a few of them in that picture.

Not at all.
I just don't know the answer to your question.
I love my university more than life, but I can't speak to the actions of hundreds of thousands of students and Former Students.

It's quite apparent that you haven't a clue. So why do you keep responding?
I asked an honest question. WTF are they doing?

You asked me a question, and I responded.
Why do you come across as such an angry guy?

But this board houses the biggest collection of homophobic redneck oafs that I have ever seen gathered in a single place. Fairly impressive, actually.

Seriously, sometimes it seems like we're watching Idiocracy in real life.

I'm just a bit bitter having watched the Buccaneers for 3 hours. If you were a life long Bucs fan you'd understand.

I honestly wish it wasn't the case.
I constantly find myself defending the SEC and many of the schools' fans and mindsets to friends and colleagues who live elsewhere.
It's a tough sell, I tell ya--even though not all SEC types are so ... uh ... non-cosmopolitan?

I had no idea aggie was this sensitive with respect to their ghey cheerleaders.

Fascinating.

Ha!
Fair enough.
I'm a life-long Oilers/Texans/Astros fan, though ... so your pain is very real to me.

Some obviously are, for some reason. But they're hardly the majority. I've no idea what the OP had in mind here, but all the gay this, gay that posts for me make him look strangely smart.

It's funny because as someone who was very involved in elections during my time at A&M, a gay man would have a very difficult time getting elected yell leader.

The nation considers Texas A&M intolerant towards the GLBT community, but the SEC says we are a bunch of gays. Can't win.

I'd just be fine with the dance team being out there. And the yelling you heard was just as much A&M fans. You could hear ag's when auburn had the ball the whole game.

For good reason, I'm strangely proud to say.

Ask me about the GSSO and "No Queer is Getting Me Out of My Bluejeans" T-shirts on Blue Jean Day for a blast from the past.
