What will our o-line look like in 2015?

I realize we still have a lot to play for this year, but it never hurts to look ahead and discuss the future.
We won't have:
Max Garcia
Trenton Brown
Chaz Green
Easily our 3 best o-linemen this year imo. I know Big Trent has been dinged up a little & Chaz has been inconsistent at times, but they are both very solid and will be difficult to replace. Max Garcia, he might be irreplaceable for the next year or two.
How blessed were we to get this class-act young man to transfer here? Pouncey, Jon Harrison, Max Garcia....how blessed have we been with great centers these last several years?
So who will play center next year? Will DJ Humphries ever improve? Or is he Xavier Nixon 2.0?
2015 Eligible:
Nick Davis
Cam Dillard
Travaris Dorsey
Matt Fuchs
Kavaris Harkless
DJ Humpheries
Rod Johnson
Nolan Kelleher
Andrew Mike
Tyler Moore
Antonio Riles
Drew Sarvary
David Sharpe
Zach Shinn
Trip Thurman
I'm hoping David Sharpe takes over for DJ at LT. Due to his seniority, DJ will probably start somewhere....so I'll pencil him in at RT for now. Trip will start at either guard position. Hopefully Riles or anyone can get the start over Tyler Moore and his seniority (you know how this staff loves seniority). So where does Rod Johnson fit in if this staff is hell bent on DJ starting? And the biggest question is who plays center? Who is our backup C currently?

I think Rod Johnson will be a beast. He was pretty impressive when he played.

We will be ok in 2015...but we need JUCO and a lot of recruits at OL signed up for 2016 and beyond. Five recruits and 1 JUCO.

Losing Garcia is gonna suck big time but I really like Sharpe and Johnson.

We currently have 4 OL committed with 3 more targeted with one being a JUCO last I read.

I was worried about this earlier in the year. I'm not as worried anymore.
Sharpe and Johnson are going to be good. Humphries is serviceable, and will be back for his senior year barring a dumb decision or a miracle.
Trip Thurman and Tyler Moore will both be back, and both have been very solid at guard this year.
I think the starting 5, without seeing how any of the young guys develop, will be:
RT: DJ Humphries
RG: Tyler Moore
C: Trip Thurman
LG: Rod Johnson
LT: David Sharpe
After that is where development over the spring and summer is going to be critical.
In order for UF to be decent again in 2015 on the OL, three of the following guys will need to step up to fill three positions: T/G, T/G, G/C
Andrew Mike - T?
Cam Dillard - C?
Antonio Riles - G?
Kavaris Harkless - T/G?
Travaris Dorsey - G?
Nolan Kelleher - T/G?
Drew Sarvary - T/G?
That is of course assuming that the large OL class that UF will be bringing in this year has no immediate contributors.
So as long as there is some development in the off season, UF should be fine next year. If there isn't any development? They are in SERIOUS trouble.

Agreed, and great assessment. I'm more worried about who will play TE next year. We have 4 guys who we can line up at TE/H-back and they can block very well right now, but all 4 are seniors and will be gone next year. We have zero catching or blocking experience at the TE position for 2015. This could completely limit our offense unless someone steps up (Lewis/Goolsby) or we get some big-time, immediate impact recruit/transfer.

The only ones I see that could provide some depth next year are Sandifer and Horton. Sandifer has already got the size (will be reporting in at 345 last i heard) and Horton plays with great technique and should be coming at 310-320.

The OL will be solid, again. Best OL this year have been Garcia, Brown, Johnson.
From L to R
Sharpe
Thurman
Mike or Kelleher
Moore
Rod J

Don't even want to think about that lol.
Depends on the physical development of some guys.
